Shakers Cafe

July 13, 2012 By John Hendrix Leave a Comment

Southern Indiana is full of great little towns!  Most have a nice little diner where you can grab something to eat at a reasonable price, and what they lack in modern amenities, they usually make up for in small town hospitality.

Such is the case with a recent discovery, Shakers Cafe, in Marengo, Indiana.  Located just south of Indiana State Road 64 in South Central Indiana, Shakers Cafe was a pleasant small town surprise.  A group of us met up in Corydon, Indiana for the short ride to Marengo for breakfast one recent Saturday morning.Marengo, Indiana is also known for Marengo Cave, a U.S. National Natural Landmark, which is certainly worth a visit as well.  Nice road, nice town, nice folks!  Give it a try if you are in the area!
